A Kendra Street Story
The first murder was April seventeenth, 2011, and there had been one on the anniversary date every year since. The tenth one would take place tomorrow unless Kendra Street could find and stop the killer. But she had been trying for two years and didn’t even have a good clue. Her husband had been the seventh victim.
The victims all had one thing in common: they were married to cops. Kendra had been a lieutenant in the major crimes division in Atlanta at the time Paul was taken from her. After two more years and two more victims, she quit the force to devote all her time to finding the killer.
Paul had been an insurance agent who really believed in insurance, and he was young enough and fit enough to buy quite a bit. Kendra could probably live off the interest for the rest of her life if she wanted to. But she didn’t want to. Leaving the force had been a gut-wrenching decision for her.
